As you may recall, there are two teams - the Divas and the Dazzlers and each month a hostess from each team sends out card kits to the other women in her group. We make cards, not knowing what the other team's kit includes, and on the 15th we post our creations on our blogs. We've been doing this for a long time now - I've lost track, but I'm pretty sure it's been over two years.
Sooooooooooo.... Debbie gets this idea that we should have a month WITHOUT hostesses and everyone has to use leftovers from previous kits to create their cards. That's what this month is all about... USING LEFTOVERS!
That being said, here's my card:
Everything on my card is leftover from previous kits except for the Black and Kraft Cardstock.
I've wanted to use burlap on my card for some time now... but have hesitated to do so until now.
This was a very simple card. I do like the color scheme and I thought it was a lot of fun to pull embellishments, papers, etc. from the various kits and make them work together. If my memory serves me correctly, the papers were from the April and June kits, the jute and brad were frm the March kit, the burlap was from the June kit, thhe sentiment was from the May kit and the pearls were from the June kit. That's a total of four months.
This has been such fun... let's go see what the other Dueling Darlings used for their leftover creations.

I suspect we're going to really enjoy the LEFTOVERS they have to show us. ;)
