Fast forward 24 hours. Today we got a freebie paper that tells about the upcoming events in all the little towns around where we live. I love it! That's just one of the fun things about moving to a new town... getting to check out all sorts of new happenings. Things like fall festivals, craft shows, threshing/farming events, chowders and chil cookoffs, parades, and even pumpkin patch and apple orchard events.
hmmmmmmmmm... maybe my husband was right! Maybe, just maybe, fall is in the air.
Sooooooooooooo... I bought this cute scarecrow image from Digital Delights and created a fall card.
I love digital images. They are resonably priced, accessible, and can be resized to fit my needs!

By the way, I used both autumn colors (gold, orange, rich green, burgandy, brown) and my favorite embellishments (ribbon and brads).

Ahhhhh! I LOVE FALL, and yes, I agree with your hubby. It's definitely in the air, even though our temps here yesterday topped out around 109!???? Jeanetty, your little scarecrow card is totally adorable. What a precious image, and the colors are PERFECT! This sure puts me in the mood for the cool, crisp days of Fall, even it they haven't quite reached us yet! VERY well done!!

I HOPE Fall is in the air!!! :) I am ready for this HOTTER THAN HOT summer to come to an end!!! Granted, I am alot busier now than ever.... so it is really a toss up ;)

You are right - that is a cute image! I am a little bit freaked out by the Fall aspect, but your card is simply adorable. Love that flower brad on the hat!
Jeanette, this is so well done! The image is sweet & expertly colored. The colors and layout are yummy, I love earth tones and fall colors. It's especially cute how he's sitting on the edge of the two papers and ribbon!
