You Color My World!

Treasure Hunt posts are some of my favorites. You know the routine... I hunt for treasures at yard sales that I then use to create a card. Normally, I try to think "outside the box" and use items that are not spefifically designed for paper-crafting. This time, though, I actually used a card - well, of sorts, anyway.
Here's what I bought:

A package of Crayola Party Invitations

cost: 10 cents

The inside of the cards was imprinted with the party specifics, but with 8 invitations in the package, I knew I'd find a way to adapt them so they wouldn't have to be party invitations.

I had a Bugaboo crayon image that I knew would go perfectly with the crayon theme of the card. It's called BBS Crayon Girl.

I popped the Bugaboo image up off of the card. It doesn't show up in the pictures very well, but I popped the right side triangle of green and stripes off the card, too.

For the inside of the card, I cut sections off of a second invitation and glued them inside the card.

The only supplies I needed for this creation other than the treasure hunt find, was glue/adhesive, Copic markers, and dimensionals.

Thanks for looking! I hope you find treasures and find time to create something today!

Hugs,

Jeanette
