When I first saw this stamp, I just KNEW I had to have it! It is the perfect reflection of my sister.
My sister has always loved horses. When we were young, she longed for a real live horse... my parents finally got her one. But Billy was a bit of a stinker. Not the best horse a girl could want. (Now as an adult, she has several horses. She and her friend have raised them for the past several years.)
My sister also had toy horses - you know the kind. Those little plastic horses. She and I would play with her horses for hours at a time. Funny thing is, she NEVER wanted to play dolls with me (my toy of choice).
My sister even resembled the little girl in this image. She always had long brown hair.
I think I'll mail this card to my sister and tell her how much I love her. Who knows, I might even make one to send to my parents.

Beautiful card and layout. Love the way you colored the image.

Oh, Jeanette, what a wonderful story and beautiful tribute card to your sister! Thanks for sharing both with us!! HUGs
ReplyDeleteP.S. Billy is a great name for a horse, even for a stinker of one. :)
Delightful! Your sister will love this, (I think you should send one to your parents too :)
ReplyDeleteThis image is so sweet, Jeanette! I'm glad your sister has nice horses now to enjoy! My grandma got us a Shetland pony when my sisters and I were little. That was the meanest animal to ever walk the face of the earth. Needless to say I'm scared to death of horses now! I sure do love your card, and I think the paper choices couldn't have been more perfect! Very well done, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLove ya,
Lorie
