During the month of February, our hearts and minds often focus on love. It's not surprising, really, since everywhere we turn there are Valentine products catching our attention. We want to buy sweets for our sweethearts.
February 6 - 13
Here's my card:
Terry, one of my online friends gave me the adorable cupid stamp last year. She knew that I wanted it, but by the time I got to Michael's, they had sold out of this cutie. She found one and promptly bought it and mailed it to me. Isn't that SWEET? Thank you, Terry!
This card is very dimensional. It has multiple layers of cardstock and designer paper, as well as the acrylic frame, the mini clip, the paper flower and rhinestone brad, and ribbon, too.
Now, I'd LOVE for you to create a LOVEly card for the Crafty Ho LOVE challenge!
Image: Craft Smart
Sentiment: Doodles by Design
Ink: Memento (Red and Tuxedo Black) and Copic Markers
Cardstock: Gina K White, Stampin' UP! Real Red, and pink scraps from my scrap file
Designer Paper: Target
Embellishments: Making Memories Acrylic Frame, Recollections Paper Flower, Stampin' UP! Mini Clip, Stickles Glitter Glue, ribbon and rhinestone brad (vendor unknown)
This is a great V Card! I especially like the extra treatments to the square frame, very clever! The richness of the reds combined with all of the layers makes this special.
ReplyDeleteYay for Terry! Now we all get to enjoy the beauty of the stamp on this stunning Valentine creation - it's sooooo cute! x0x0
