Who doesn't love a nice crisp apple?
My personal favorites are the ones that are a wee bit tart. Oh, and I love to dip apple slices in caramel dip. Yummy!
Apples are wonderful!
So is the Chi Chi Memories apple tree image that I used to create this card:
It's actually part of the Puppet Show set. I thought it was perfect for creating a Chi Chi Memories Challenge card using this sketch:
I wanted some clouds in the background of my image block, but I didn't want to print them on the page, I wanted to sponge around them. To achieve that process, I printed the cloud images from the Puppet Show set onto cardstock and carefully cut them out.
For the four circles on the sketch, I colored an apple from the image and cut it out. I then placed four apples along the side.

This is wonderful, Jeanette! So colorful and just beautifully done using the apples as the element from the sketch. That was very creative, and perfectly planned. Thanks for the tip on the clouds. That worked out great, and looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove ya,

OMG I am LOL because we both have apple-themed cards for our posts today!! Great minds, right? *wink, wink*
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute! You really rocked the sketch, and I love those the sparkly red apples! {hug}
Great card, J! I love making sky like that! I must agree that tart apples are the best - our Aunt who has the orchard hates when we pick the almost ripe apples to eat out in the field!
ReplyDeleteI like the little apples on the left side....too cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Jeanette...love it.(I'm a fan of crisp slightly tart apples as well...)
