Due to my traveling schedule, I didn't have as much time to work on this project as I wanted to, so I chose to do a card instead, since it's familiar territory and would take less time than the calendar. I'm sorry, Susan, because I really would have loved to WOW you.
The theme this month is Fantsasy, Whimsical, Magical, and Susan allowed us to choose our own images to use. I don't have many images in this category, so choosing an image was simple. I went with sn Inkadinkado fairy image from the Beautiful Fairies set.
To add some magical charm to this post, I took my photos outside... at a park in Kansas, where my daughter lives. Isn't it a gorgeous setting?
These two photos give you a closer look at some of the embellishments, pearls, ribbon, charms, crystal droplets, flowers... did I say WOWzer?
The pictures don't really show the sparkle of the image. I colored a lot of it with Copic Spica pens to make it shine/sparkle.
Image: Inkadinkado Beautiful Fairies
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers, and Copic Spica pens
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Cherry Cbbler, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, and Peach Parfait
Designer Papers: K & Co. Que Sera Sera Collection
Embellishments: Blue Moon Beads charm, Plaid faceted teardrop charm, Victoria Lynn pearl and crystal pick, Prima paper flower, Recollections pearls, Darice ribbon and pearl strand, and Kreinik silver filament
Beautiful card, J!

What a gorgeous card! I love the papers you received and the colors - oh my. The extra pearls on the flowers is a great touch (one I can assure you I'll be borrowing - wink wink). Lovely all the way around and great place to take the pictures: totally fitting.
