Reading is the Key to this KitCat Adventure

The KitCats took the summer off... but we are back! (And no, I don't mean those delicious little chocolate and layers of sweetness candy bars.)
There are now five KitCats. We are online friends who create with identical kits once a month. It is fun to see the final projects - each one just as unique as the woman who created it. A different one of us serves as the hostess each month, sending out identical kits to each KitCat. This month was my turn to hostess.

I mailed the KitCats stamped images (Stamping Bella Betty the Bookworm and Spencer the Bookworm), designer papers (Bo Bunny Learning Curve Due Date and Stripe), and an assortment of embellishments (buttons, ribbon, an office clip, and a 7 Gypsies Antique Brss Mini Key - because I do believe that books are a key to adventure). Just for fun I included a few pages from a vintage book (The American Family and School Dictionary) in this month's kit, too. The KitCats add their own cardstock and are given permission to use some or all of the kit items however they choose.

Here's my card:

I chose to use the Betty the Bookworm image.

Here are a couple of closeups so you can see the image and some of the other details a little better:

And here's a picture from an angle, allowing you to see inside my card:

My card has a lot of fun layers:

Now, let's go see what the other KitCats created...

The Crafty Ho's Challenge this week is in honor of
National Children's Day (which is celebrated on October 8)...

This is my card for the Crafty Ho Challenge.

You brought such fun and interest to this kit with the key (I LOVED THAT), and the dictionary pages were brilliant!! Thanks so much for such a wonderful kit to work with. I sure had fun, and it looks like you did, too. You're the best!

I love ya,
