My Treasure Hunt Made Me Smile



This past week, I found a rather unusual bag filled with goodies at one yard sale I checked out.


Take a look...




Yes, those are badges - Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Bowling, Harley Davidson, Etc Etc.
Cost: $2



Now, I admit, that is more money than almost every other single Treasure Hunt item I've purchased for card-making......... but it was too unique to pass up. (I might try to find a market for re-selling some of them).



I chose just one badge to use on this week's Treasure Hunt card.



Add a Smile!



The yellow strip in the middle (Think cheery) is a piece of ribbon from my ever-growing ribbon stash. (Have I ever mentioned that I have way too much ribbon?)




As you can see from the angled view, I even added a splash of designer paper to the inside of my card. I've been doing that quite a bit lately. I think it adds a finished touch to the card.





This is a cheerful - colorful - card. It makes me happy!

  2. Wowzers ~ what a find! And a great way to use it on your card!! I have been in a ribbon mood, myself; but DH says 'enough is enough!'....lol
