Today I put the picture of my card first, before I typed a single word. That's because I wanted the image to communicate for itself. There is something so special about the way a baby grasps hold of the finger of someone she loves and trusts. It's the most incredible feeling in the world.
That's why I like this Squigglefly image called Hands (created by Lynne Stansbery). It transports me back to the time when my own children were babies, a time when a gentle grasp of their young hand around my finger could create emotions I didn't know until motherhood.
Thank you, Lynne, for taking me down memory lane!

I am soooo casing this! Thank you my friend, just when I needed a baby card....too bad you don't live closer....
Awww...this is sooo pretty!
A sweet sweet creation. It would be purrfect for a birth announcement or welcoming a new baby. I agree it brings back memories (that I have been reliving with grandbabies now)
Very sweet card jeanette! I really love how you turned the image sideways to get a whole different feel.
That is so true! The grasp your hand so sweetly, and your heart forever! Great card!
