Fish, Frogs, and Turtles
(yes, that's the name of Karly's card swap over on Splitcoast)
I had to join!
Here's the card I created:
The fish was so much fun to create. I used a variety of Stampin' UP! punches to cut the various elements. Then I snipped away to remove some paper, creating dimension. Added some inked lines and assembled. Simple!
Oh, and do you want to know a secret? I created the inked background paper using Bubble Wrap. Yes, the packaging material... BUBBLE WRAP. But don't tell my husband. Eek! He'd freak out. See, we own an online book business and bubble wrap is a precious commodity because we use it to wrap some of our books for shipment. He would not be happy if he knew I'd wasted some bubble wrap by dabbing it onto my ink pads to create a REALLY COOL LOOKING designer paper. It will be our little secret. Okay?
