April 4 - 10
This week participants are asked to include something recycled on their creation.
My card includes two different recycled items:
- some buttons that I cut off of some old shirts that needed tossed.
- a section of the plastic piece that was supporting the collar in a new shirt that my husband recently purchased. I wove some blue grosgrain ribbon in and out of the evenly spaced rectangular holes found in the plastic piece, giving the ribbon a wavy look.
