April 11 - 17
I have to admit, I much prefer working with bright or rich colors than pastels. Pastels are down-right difficult for me. So I was more challenged than usual with this week's Crafty Ho Challenge. Yep, you guessed it. This week's challenge is all about pastels.
Even with my given handicap (no pastel ability!) I managed to put together a set of two baby cards. I hope you'll take the challenge with me! I want to learn from you; I want to see what you can do with pastels.

My Romper Card was made completely out of papers from my scrap file.

Ink: Copic markers
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery
Designer Papers: from my scrap file
Embellishments: colored safety pins and JoAnn's white organdy ribbon
I don't like working with pastels either but you did a great job on these. I love your romper!! Did you use a template?
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love both cards, is the romper from a template or did you design free hand?
ReplyDeleteJeanette Sweetie, I can't believe that you just threw together that "romper" with scraps!!! You are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! MWAH!
ReplyDeleteI love your romper....and I thing you did just FABULOUS with your pastels!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about, no pastel ability?! This card is super cute! I wonder which lucky baby is going to receive it.

ReplyDeleteAwww...what a cute image, you did a great job using the pastels!
ReplyDeleteFunny, pastels are the easiest for me to use, I have the hardest time with bold bright. So great that the SMC DT has such a nice variety :o)
