Out of This World Thanks

This month is a celebration for me!

It's the first time ever that I'm celebrating my half-birthday.

and it's all Barb's fault!

You see, my friend Barb's birthday is in October, just like mine is. So when I wanted to join her Birthday Club swap on SCS, I had to get creative and take a month other than my actual month. I chose to celebrate my 1/2 birthday, and Barb graciously allowed me to join. Therefore this month, my fellow swappers are blessing me with lots of goodies - all in celebration of my 1/2 birthday.

The first package I received was from Barb - on April 2, which just happens to be my husband's birthday. I thought that was a hoot!

She gave me lots and lots of wonderful things. You should have seen that bulging package. I took just a few of the items and got creative. This card is the results of that creativity.







The items used from Barb's gift:

Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder - I used this for the teal layer behind the image. I also used it ont he star desinger paper, only did it from the backside so instead of having bumps, it looks more like mini craters.

Cuttlebug Christmas Stars Embossing Folder - I used this on the Groovy Guava layer. It's an awesome embossed design.

Bow Easy Tool - WOW! Look at that perfect bow! I'm hopeless awful at making bows, but with this handy tool, it's a snap! Love it!
