Happy Easter KitCat Style

Please Note: I have two blog posts today - this one and the Crafty Ho's Challenge post that follows it.

Happy Easter!

The Angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."

(Matthew 28:5-6; NIV)

Hallelujah!

Not only is this Easter; it is also KitCat Sunday. The first Sunday of each month is when my KitCat friends and I post our projects made from identical kits. This month Lorie is our hostess. She put together delightful Easter kits for us, including a Peachy Keen acrylic stamp (you heard me right... she sent the stamp, not just images. Woo Hoo!), designer papers, two kinds of ribbon, lots of buttons, rhinestones, and some embroidery floss. Her only instruction was to have fun creating. That was no problem at all with the goodies she sent. Thanks Lorie!!!

Easter Basket Bunny by Peachy Keen

I colored my Easter Basket Bunny with Copic markers and cut the image out with a circle Nestability. I added layers of the different designer papers in the kit and added some of the buttons, rhinestones, and ribbon. To fulfill Lorie's instructions... JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT... I rounded one corner of the card.

This was such a amazing kit. I can hardly wait to see what the other KitCats have created. Let's go see... and wish each of them a Happy Easter, too.

  2. Oh, Jeanette!! I don't know where to start! You have certainly done this kit proud, from the wonderful Copic work, the great sketch, your ability to work in the elements and embellies in just the perfect way, and finally, the rounding of the corner! You are brilliant, and it shines through every piece of art you create! I love the interest that rounding the corner adds to the finished card. Simply amazing, beautiful, and a knock right out of the park! Wishing you a very happy and blessed Easter, my dear friend!

    I love ya,
    Lorie
