I thought you might like to see another border card using a Squigglefly image... so here it is:

This time I did something I've never done before... I altered a purchased notecard. Yes, the square card base is actually a notecard that came in a set from Michael's dollar section, complete with envelopes. Pretty awesome deal. I thought I'd try my hand at altering.

As you can see, with today's card I put the image on the inside (again... since I did that with yesterday's card, too). I used a circle punch to create a peek hole to show just a portion of the gift that is in the image. I decorated the front with a fun border (EK Success border punch) and some bright cheerful flowers and ribbon.

Open the card and you find the oh-so-cute Squigglefly Birthday Gifter image. colored to match the card front.

It was easy to alter the premade notecard. I just might have to watch for more deals in the dollar aisle.

  6. Way to go trying something "outside the box"! I would have never guess that this was an altered premade card unless you said so! I really love that you placed a peek hole over the present too! I love it!
